The questions
people actually ask.
Before you buy anything, before you commit to anything — here's what most people want to know first. Honest answers, written for humans.
01
What is a peptide, in plain English?
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids — the same building blocks your body uses to make proteins. Your body already produces thousands of them, and they act as messengers that tell cells what to do.
02
Why are people talking about them now?
Two reasons. First, the science has matured — researchers understand specific peptides far better than they did a decade ago. Second, certain peptides have shown interesting effects in studies on metabolism, recovery, sleep, and healthy aging, and the conversation has spilled out of academic journals into the mainstream.
03
Are peptides legal?
It depends entirely on the peptide and how it's being used. Some are FDA-approved medications. Others are sold strictly as research compounds. Others are in a gray area. We can walk you through where any specific peptide stands — just ask.
04
Are peptides safe?
There is no single answer. Some peptides have decades of safety data; others are still being studied. Safety also depends on purity, dosage, route, and the individual. Anyone telling you peptides are universally safe — or universally dangerous — is overselling their certainty.
05
What's the difference between wellness, longevity, and recovery peptides?
These are loose, marketing-style buckets. Wellness and longevity peptides are usually researched for things like energy, sleep quality, and metabolic health. Recovery peptides are studied more for tissue repair and joint comfort. The lines blur — many peptides span multiple categories.
06
I'm just curious. What should I do?
Start by reading a little. Then talk to someone honest. We're happy to answer questions, point you to research, or tell you that we don't know something. There's no obligation to buy anything to ask.
